Dejamobile’s headquarters and R&D team are based in France, Normandy. The company also has sales offices in Paris, London, Dublin and Cologne, with the opening of an office in the Middle East soon.

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and help us reinforce Dejamobile leading position in the mobile payments, wallets and tokenization services businesses.

Based in Paris and working directly with our Chief Sales Officer, your goal will be to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients: Banks, online Banks, Processors, Fintechs, Wallet service providers, Retailers and PSPs in your assigned territory.

Travelling is part of the job. We currently have customers in Europe, Central Asia and GCC and we are looking to expand our global footprint. Although the company makes its best efforts to limit its impact on the environment, you shall be ready and happy to travel from 20% to 50% of your time.

To engage with our customers and prospects, full proficiency in English is mandatory and another language (German, Spanish, Arabic or Russian) would be a strong plus.

Profile & skills

We value different backgrounds for this role

As you will be in charge of business development, a 2-5 years working experience in a similar role and preferably in the payment ecosystem, is expected.

This being said, we also value “Consultant” profiles with a proven track record in payment projects either as a pre-sales or project manager, wishing to cross the line and become a successful business developer!

We expect you to be graduated from a Business School or Engineering school.

Main activities

You will have the following responsibilities :

  • Generate business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
  • Cold call potential customers and building relationships.
  • Establish customer needs and selling products accordingly.
  • Arrange meetings with clients and carrying out product demonstrations.
  • Follow up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.
  • Work closely with other teams to develop new business.
  • Research the market and identifying potential target customers.
  • Attend industry events in order to generate business leads.
  • Keep records of all the actions on the CRM and ensuring the data base updates
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
