Data security and GDPR issues, trends in the banking world.

The year 2018 promises significant changes for companies in terms of data management. In May 2018 the GDPR: the European General Data Protection Regulation will come into force. It aims above all to strengthen the protection of personal data of Internet users but will also have a strong impact on the IT systems of all companies.

All sectors are concerned, including the banking sector, which will have to face up to the regulations of the European directive PSD2 in January 2018, which will more widely disrupt the management of bank data.

Cap Digital, the Competitiveness and Digital Transformation Cluster, explores the issues related to data security matters in a dossier gathering the positions of various experts on the subject. The aim of the dossier is to analyse how companies are adapting to legal and user requirements, and to measure the extent of the movement towards a new approach to more responsible and respectful management of privacy.

As a member of the Cap Digital cluster, Houssem Assadi, CEO of dejamobile, contributed to an in-depth reflection on the challenges of data security and RGPD, and shared his expertise and vision of the evolution of the banking world.
